Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the usage, rights, and liabilities of Ride2Repair Private Limited (“Company”/ “Ride2Repair”/ "We"/ "Us" or "Our") and the User (“You”/ “User”) while accessing and using the Ride2Repair website and mobile application, available at https://ride2repair.com (“Platform”).
Ride2Repair is the brand of Ride2Repair Private Limited, providing doorstep maintenance and repair services for two-wheeler vehicles, including but not limited to servicing, cleaning, check-ups, and dry wash.
By accessing and using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and unconditionally agree to these Terms, which form a binding contract between you and Ride2Repair.
I. Definitions
- Platform: The mobile application and website of Ride2Repair.
- Technician: An independent third-party technician engaged by Ride2Repair to provide services to Users.
- User: An individual who:
- Is at least 18 years old.
- Is of sound mind and capable of entering into a contract.
- Has accessed or registered on the Platform as per these Terms.
II. Usage
- Users accessing the Platform for services, browsing, or exploration are bound by these Terms and all related rules, regulations, and policies provided by Ride2Repair.
- Ride2Repair may update these Terms by posting changes on the Platform without prior notice. Users should review the Terms periodically. Updated Terms supersede previous versions and take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the current Terms.
- If you disagree with these Terms, you may choose not to access or stop using the Platform.
- Ride2Repair may restrict, suspend, or terminate a User’s access to the Platform for reasons including:
- Breach of these Terms.
- Use by individuals under 18.
- Suspected illegitimate transactions causing loss to the Platform.
- Location spoofing.
- Falsifying personal information (e.g., name, email, bank details).
- Uploading inappropriate, vulgar, or defamatory content.
- Any misuse of the Platform.
- Violation of Indian laws.
- Ride2Repair may initiate civil or criminal action and seek compensation for losses caused by the above actions.
- Subject to Indian laws, Ride2Repair may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform or services at its discretion.
- Users consent to receiving communications (e.g., announcements, advertisements) from Ride2Repair or its partners via email, WhatsApp, or other contact details provided.
- Nothing in these Terms limits Ride2Repair’s right to comply with governmental, court, or law enforcement requests regarding your use of the Platform.
III. Intellectual Property
- The Platform includes content created by Ride2Repair, its partners, affiliates, licensors, or Users. All intellectual property rights in software, content, advertisements, images, logos, and other materials (“Intellectual Property”) on the Platform are owned by Ride2Repair. Users are responsible for the content they upload and warrant that it does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights.
- Users must not display or use third-party names, logos, trademarks, or copyrights on the Platform.
- Users agree to indemnify Ride2Repair, its directors, employees, and affiliates against any third-party claims, including intellectual property infringement, arising from their content or actions.
- Users grant Ride2Repair a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sublicensable, irrevocable right to use, reproduce, distribute, and publish their content for:
- Displaying content on the Platform (excluding personal identifiable information).
- Storing content in a database for other Users to access for a fee.
- Distributing content to other Users in any form or medium.
IV. Third-Party Sites, Services, and Products
- The Platform may include links to third-party websites.
- Use of third-party sites is subject to their terms. Ride2Repair does not control or assume responsibility for third-party content.
- Users access third-party sites at their own risk and cannot hold Ride2Repair liable for any consequences.
- Inclusion of third-party content or links does not imply endorsement by Ride2Repair.
- Users are responsible for reviewing third-party terms before transacting or using their services.
- The Platform includes content from Ride2Repair and third parties. Ride2Repair does not guarantee the accuracy or quality of third-party content, which Users rely on at their own risk.
V. Privacy Policy
All information collected from Users is subject to our Privacy Policy.
VI. User Conduct
- Users must provide true, accurate, and complete information during registration and update it as needed.
- Users may not register or operate multiple accounts on the Platform.
- Users consent to receiving communications from Ride2Repair via email or SMS. Ride2Repair is not liable for unread messages delivered to junk/spam folders.
- Users are responsible for maintaining account and password confidentiality and must notify Ride2Repair of unauthorized use.
- Users must log out after each session and keep login information confidential. Ride2Repair is not liable for losses due to failure to comply.
- Users may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the Platform’s technology or software.
- Users may not modify Platform files or software.
- Users may not engage in attacks (e.g., viruses) to disrupt the Platform or others’ use.
- Users may not attempt unauthorized access to accounts, servers, or networks by bypassing security measures.
- Users must not:
- Engage in obscene, offensive, or defamatory actions or communications.
- Harass, stalk, or threaten other Users.
- Transmit inappropriate or unlawful content.
- Transmit viruses or malware.
- Advertise or sell goods/services without Ride2Repair’s consent.
- Falsify or delete proprietary notices.
- Restrict other Users’ enjoyment of the Platform.
- Collect others’ personal information.
- Impersonate others.
- Forge Platform data or documents.
- Ride2Repair may restrict or change usernames/display names deemed inappropriate or already in use, or deny access to such Users.
- Unauthorized access to the Platform is a breach of these Terms and a violation of law. Users must not use automated means (e.g., bots, scripts) to access or monitor the Platform without prior written approval.
VII. User Information
- Users must register by providing:
- Name
- Username
- Email ID
- Phone Number
- Password
- Location (optional)
- The Platform may request feedback on services or access to device contacts, at the User’s discretion. Failure to provide required information may limit access to certain features.
- Ride2Repair may verify phone numbers via OTP. Failure to verify may prevent access.
- Users must ensure all information is accurate and update it promptly if changes occur.
VIII. Bookings
- Users may place orders for services through the Platform, providing requested information. Ride2Repair will attempt to assign a technician for the requested time. If unavailable, Users will be asked to choose an alternative time.
- Once a technician confirms the order, Users receive confirmation and must make payment as per these Terms before or at the time of service.
- Orders cancelled before technician confirmation are not charged. Other cancellations are subject to the Cancellation Policy.
IX. Services
- The Platform offers:
- Pan-India registration and access to two-wheeler repair and maintenance services.
- Connection with technicians for various services at mutually agreed costs.
- Easy payment options for services.
- Storage of vehicle maintenance history for improved service.
- Personal, non-commercial use within India, unless otherwise agreed.
- Limitation: Users are responsible for assessing technicians’ suitability. Ride2Repair is not liable for the quality, accuracy, or conduct of technicians or services.
- Orders are treated as confirmed upon placement. Ride2Repair may contact Users to verify details (e.g., name, phone, email, location). Users must report incorrect details promptly.
- Ride2Repair may contact Users to confirm or modify orders due to technician availability or pricing changes. Ride2Repair reserves the right not to process orders if Users are unreachable during confirmation.
X. Payments
- Payments must be in Indian Rupees (INR).
- Payment methods include:
- Debit Card
- Credit Card
- UPI
- Cash on Delivery
- Ride2Repair is authorized to collect technician charges on their behalf.
- The Platform is a payment facilitator, not a banking or financial service, and does not act as a trustee or fiduciary.
- Users must not pay technicians directly unless specified on the Platform.
- Ride2Repair may charge a platform fee, subject to User consent, which varies by case.
- All charges include applicable taxes.
- Ride2Repair may offer promotional codes, discounts, or credits at its discretion.
XI. Publicity
- By posting reviews or opinions on the Platform, Users grant Ride2Repair permission to use their content, name, likeness, and comments for advertising and promotional purposes worldwide without additional compensation.
XII. General Conditions
- If any feature requires regulatory approvals or is prohibited, Ride2Repair may withdraw it without notice. Users cannot claim compensation for such withdrawals.
XIII. Grievance Redressal
- Ride2Repair has a robust grievance redressal mechanism to address genuine User complaints promptly.
- Users should contact Ride2Repair via the grievance support system for any issues.
- Ride2Repair is not liable for losses if Users fail to report grievances before approaching external authorities.
XIV. Dispute and Dispute Resolution
- Disputes between Ride2Repair and Users should be resolved amicably.
- Users must use Ride2Repair’s grievance redressal mechanism before approaching other authorities, providing details of their identity, grievance, reasons, and losses. Ride2Repair’s liability is limited to the last two amounts deposited by the User.
- Users must keep grievance details confidential.
XV. Release and Limitations of Liability
- Users access the Platform at their own risk. Ride2Repair is not liable for any loss or damage (e.g., injury, property damage) during service use.
- Users release and indemnify Ride2Repair, its directors, employees, and partners from liability arising from service access.
- Ride2Repair is not liable for errors or omissions by itself or third parties.
- Users are responsible for consequences of illegal acts or non-compliance with these Terms, and must indemnify Ride2Repair for any resulting losses.
- Users waive all claims against Ride2Repair for injuries or mishaps arising from service use.
XVI. Disclaimers
- Ride2Repair is not responsible for harm from downloading or accessing Platform content. No refunds are provided for inaccessibility due to maintenance, provider failures, or external causes (e.g., viruses, natural disasters).
- Content is provided “as is.” Users download materials at their own risk and are liable for any damage to their systems.
- Ride2Repair does not guarantee that the Platform will meet User requirements, be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that services will meet expectations.
- Ride2Repair is not liable for direct, indirect, or consequential damages from Platform use.
- Users cannot claim compensation for suspension or closure of services or offers.
- Ride2Repair’s total liability to a User is limited to the total winnings in their account.
XVII. Miscellaneous
- Ride2Repair’s decisions on discounts or rewards are final and non-contestable.
- Ride2Repair makes no warranties on prize quality or suitability.
- Users consent to receiving event notifications via the Platform or email. Ride2Repair is not liable for notification failures due to inaccurate User information.
- Ride2Repair is not liable for delays or failures due to uncontrollable events (e.g., acts of God, war, network failures).
- Failure to enforce any Term does not constitute a waiver.
- Claims related to Platform use must be filed within 30 days.
- These Terms constitute the entire agreement between Users and Ride2Repair, superseding prior agreements.
- If any Term is unenforceable, the remaining Terms remain effective.
- Ride2Repair may restrict or ban Users at its discretion without notice.
- Ride2Repair may suspend or close services at its discretion.
- Promotions cannot be combined unless specified.
